Aimimage supports a number of the top rated shows from the Christmas Period

Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. – did you all see our favourite British characters do what we love the most over the Christmas period?

Are you one of the 17.7 Million viewers (highest recorded since 2006) who cozied up on Christmas Day and watched Gavin and Stacey? Maybe, like us, you kept one eye open from behind a blanket being scared witless by the brilliant Dracula on New Year’s Day along with 6.6 Million other viewers.

ICE Film, part of the Aimimage Group are proud to have supplied high-tech, smart, dynamic filming equipment for a record-breaking season of TV over the festive period.

With productions from the terrifying tale of Jonathan Harker’s travels to Transylvania in the screamingly evocative 3-part horror, Dracula, to the moving, hilarious and characterful adaptation Call the Midwifeto a gripping political drama of an illicit affair inspired by true events in BBC’s The Trial of Christine Keeler toWhite House Farm, thetrue story of a heinousgroup of murders committed in Essex in 1985.

With such a huge variety of productions created, whether you were a fan of them all or just one or two; there is truly something for everyone in this line up of talent and utterly captivating television.

Boastfully, we are elated that these programmes beat some fiercely popular competitive shows and  are thrilled that between Monday 23rd December to Sunday 5th January we were involved in growing viewer ratings by supplying high-quality equipment to our production partners and filmmakers all to triumph during the busiest viewing time of the year.

The talent, effort and complete creativity of all these incredible shows has been a real career high for our team at Ice Film and Aimimage Group; in a time where TV shows reign above, it is truly Best of British at its absolute finest!

All still available to watch on BBC iPlayer we are proud that along with our partners at Ice, we helped create a blend of perfectly timeless pieces that will continue to be talked about, probably all the way to next Christmas!

If a TV show can be considered a National Treasure you would be hard-pressed to decide which of these winter gems would reach your personal top-spot.

Get streaming, it’s too cold to go out this month… ?
