The show, which centres on a teenage male zombie who got reanimated and reintegrated into society many years after a horrible zombie apocalypse, has received many positive feedback from viewers and critics.
This isn’t your ordinary zombie show. It is way beyond those usual gruesome flesh eating scenes. There’s just so much symbolism in the story that vividly mirrors society. It takes a whole different perspective of zombies compared to anything you’ve ever seen. No wonder why this show won the BAFTA Television Craft Writer – Drama 2014. Congratulations Dominic Mitchell!
