The LP-1X1 Bi-Colour LED fixture by Litepanels, Inc. is a remarkably versatile tool with features suitable to any user from beginner to professional. It consumes very little energy (only 45 watts), gives off no heat, lasts up to 100,000 hours, is dimmable in both daylight and tungsten. It runs on AC or DC, and gives off a soft, evenly distributed light.

Stunningly Bright

Perfect for portraits or interviews, you can look through the ‘holes’ in the back of the light while aiming it. Fitted with 1,128 light-emitting diodes, 564 being daylight and the other 564 being tungsten-balanced, the Bi-Colour is surprisingly bright. The LEDs reside behind a clear piece of plastic, which has a slot for the optional six-piece CTO or six-piece CTB gel set.

The rear features two rotating knobs: The left knob (colour), operates either the daylight-balanced or tungsten-balanced LEDs and allows both of them to illuminate if the dial is in the 12 o’clock position. The right knob increases or decreases the intensity of the LEDs via dimming—all the way down to zero. An on/off rocker switch strikes the unit and a small 24V DC receptacle accesses the power.

Limitless Colour Control and Accessibility

The Litepanels 1X1 Bi-Colour uses both 3200K and 5600K LEDs in the same housing. This arrangement delivers near limitless colour control at any intensity you desire. No more changing out lamps or fussing with filters to adapt to changes in lighting conditions. The 1X1 Bi-Colour does it all.

The Bi-Color is small enough to fit in any carry on a bag. Whether you require a 3200K tungsten balance, a 5600K daylight balance, or anything in between, getting you there is quick and easy. A colour dial on the back of the unit allows you to dial in the colour temperature and a dimmer dial lets you adjust the intensity.
