The INFINIBAR PB12: What You Should Know

The INFINIBAR PB12 is a 4ft seamless, tunable colour pixel bar which has just landed at Aimimage. It’s a relatively new product so we thought we’d take a deep dive into what it can do.

Blending Ability

The INFINIBAR PB12 is a rectangular, linear LED light which can be seamlessly connected end-to-end, with no visible gaps. This presents a huge amount of possibility to filmmakers. The bar can be hidden in-scene or used as a camera practical on set. The 10 splicing connectors mean you can create a huge range of shapes.

Connectivity Potential

Whether you want to make a flat triangle or a 3D hexagon, the INFINIBAR PB12 offers brilliant connectivity. The design and configuration possibilities are extensive as the INFINIBAR PB12s each have splicing connectors on the back. You can even share AC power across multiple lights.

Precision Control

The INFINIBAR PB12 can be controlled via the Sidus Link app, but they are also compatible with the LumenRadio CRMX wireless controls. This means industry professionals, cinematographers and lighting teams alike have complete control of the INFINIBAR PB12 and its lightning engines, even from a distance.

For more permanent set ups, the INFINIBAR PB12 is also compatible with wired DMX connections, using the Aputure Active USB-C to 5-Pin DMX adapter.

Easy Mounting

The INFINIBAR PB12s offer endless mounting options, making them perfect for creating a large range of lighting configurations. They can be built directly into production sets, used in music videos or for product photography.

The INFINIBAR PB12s can be mounted to ferromagnetic surfaces, using the in-built neodymium magnets. Alternatively, they can also be rigged to stands and clamps using the mounting points.

Colour Accuracy

The apertures consistently deliver stellar colour quality with RGBWW LED chipsets. The pixelbar is capable of XY, advanced HSI and white between 2,000K to 10,000K with G/M adjustment. Plus, with a CRI of 96, a TLCI of 98 and an SSI of 85, you can have complete peace of mind that the INFINIBAR will elevate the colour quality of your next production.
