Thanks to this new ergonomic design, the SONY FS7 allows long-period camera use. The grip angle can be modified with a simple button, as well as the zoom and the rec start/stop. User-friendly viewfinder

4K super 35mm Exmor CMOS sensor.

The SONY FS7 is equipped with a CMOS sensor 11.6 million total pixels and 8.9 million effective pixels. It allows the camera to realise precise slow motion and 4K motion picture. The sensor realises a high sensitivity of ISO2000, as well as a dynamic range of 14 stops.

Internal recording

The SONY FS7 realise an internal recording of 4K resolution plus a wide range of frames rate. The resolution starts from 3840×2160 to 4096×2160 and gives perfect precision on the images.

Quality slow motion

The SONY FS7 offer the possibility of recording full HD image quality at a frame rate up to 180 fps.

E-mount system

In Long GOP, image quality and recording time are set up to allow Full HD recording in 1080/50P with 4:2:2 10-bit sampling at only 50 Mbps. It makes this format suitable for a longer shooting. Support is also provided for the MPEG2 HD 422 recording format, which is mainly used at broadcast stations. Supported formats and bit rates are indicated below:
