Russian Cosmonauts Capture 5-hour Spacewalk with GoPro

Hands down, spacemen enjoy the most exhilarating job in the world. In this stunning GoPro footage, Gennady Padalka and his 55-year old companion, Mikhail Korniyenko set out on a 5-hour spacewalk on August 10th outside the International Space Station.

The GoPro video shows the two cosmonauts busily working on their space chores outside the ISS with the earth serving as a magnificent backdrop hundred of kilometers away. The video was released last September 12th by Roscosmos, Russia’s federal space agency.

Padalka holds the world record of staying 879 cumulative days out in space, He has recently  returned to earth and touched down with two other companions, including the first Danish astronaut, Andreas Mogensen, and first cosmonaut from Kazakhstan, Aidyn Aimbetov. The trio arrived on board the Soyuz.
