Known for its high portability, the PXW-FS7 camcorder is equipped with Super Slow Motion functions. It also comes with a ɑ-Mount system fully compatible with a wide range of A-Mount and E-Mount lenses.

The PXW-FS7 is designed with an ergonomic grip for ease of use and operability, which makes it a great choice for one-man shoots whenever extreme flexibility of the camera’s ɑ-mount lens and other interchangeable and compatible lenses are needed to achieve the best results. The PXW-FS7 is more than capable of shooting in full HD at up to 180 fps and in 60p as well.

This camera supports recording in multiple formats including XAVC, including MPEG-2 HD, the format commonly used by most broadcast companies around the globe.

Attaching the optional Extension unit (XDCA-FS7) will enable ProRes encoding and multi-camera shooting. Connecting an AXS-R5 recorder and an HXR-IFR5 interface will allow parallel and 4K/2k RAW recordings (240 fps in 2K).

Ideal choice for one-man shoots due to its ergonomic and lightweight design, plus, it also features a low power draw and much lower investment costs. The PXW-FS7 comes with a suite of ergonomic features such as a sturdy grip for easy handling and an adjustable arm section.

The PXW is fully capable of internal recording in 4K resolution including a wide selection of frame rates such as 59.94P, 29.97P, 50P, 23.89P, and 25P while providing stellar sensitivity of ISO 2000 and a 14-stop dynamic range.

Capable of continuous, full HD recording running at frame rates of up to 180 fps using its internal XQD media, this high definition camcorder’s external RAW recorders can capture images in 2k running up to 240 fps.
